Our Story

For Miguel, horses have been a part of life for as long as he can remember.

He began riding at just five years old in Cuba, where countless hours of practice, dedication, and time in the saddle shaped a lifelong passion for horsemanship. What began as a childhood love for horses grew into years of training and competition, eventually taking him beyond Cuba to compete in different countries and continue developing his experience as a rider, trainer, and horseman.

Throughout those years, Miguel held onto a dream of one day creating an equestrian school of his own. A place where he could share everything he had learned, help riders develop their skills and confidence, and provide horses with the individual care and attention he believes they deserve.

That dream became Miami Equine Center.

Miguel founded Miami Equine Center with a simple vision: to create a welcoming, family-oriented equestrian environment centered around horsemanship, personalized training, and exceptional horse care.

Today, he brings the same dedication that began at five years old into every lesson, every horse, and every rider who comes through the gates.

For Miguel, Miami Equine Center is more than a business. It is the realization of a lifelong dream and a place where he can share his passion for horses with the Miami community.
