WARNING: Under Florida law, an equine activity sponsor or equine professional is not liable for an injury to, or the death of, a participant in equine activities resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities, pursuant to Chapter 773, Florida Statutes.
All riders, visitors, and participants in any activity at Miami Equine — including riding lessons, horse boarding visits, training sessions, trail rides, and photoshoots — are required to read and acknowledge the release below before participating.
I understand that horseback riding and activities around horses carry inherent risks, including but not limited to the possibility of a horse acting unpredictably, bucking, rearing, biting, kicking, or falling, and that these risks cannot be entirely eliminated regardless of the care taken by Miami Equine and its staff.
In consideration of being permitted to participate in activities at Miami Equine, I, on behalf of myself and any minor participant in my care, release and hold harmless Miami Equine, its owners, employees, and agents from any and all claims, injuries, or damages arising from participation in equine activities, to the fullest extent permitted by Florida law.
A parent or legal guardian must read and sign this waiver on behalf of any participant under the age of 18.
This waiver is a general template provided for convenience and does not constitute legal advice. Miami Equine recommends having this document reviewed by a Florida-licensed attorney to confirm it meets all requirements for enforceability before relying on it.
Please review the information above before your visit. A full waiver will be required to be signed in person upon arrival at the facility.
